Required Documents for Driving in Japan 在日本租车所需文件

1. To rent a car in Japan, you need a valid International Driving Permit (IDP).
   在日本租车需要持有有效的国际驾照。

2. The IDP must be issued by a country that is a signatory to the Geneva Convention, and it must follow the format specified in that convention.
   该国际驾照需由日内瓦公约缔约国签发，并符合该公约规定的格式。中国国内的驾照无法直接在日本使用，持有中国驾照的客户需取得符合日内瓦公约的有效国际驾照。

Important Driving Tips for Japan 在日驾驶的注意事项

• Japan drives on the left side of the road. Please be mindful of speed limits, traffic signs, and parking rules.

• Even when turning left, always follow the traffic signals. (In countries like the U.S. or China, you may turn right at a red light, but this is not permitted in Japan.)
